Our Story

Oak Pop was born out of a late-night conversation between three friends who all shared the same obsession...watches.

Between the three of us, we had over a decade of hands on experience hand-making, designing, sourcing, and wearing watch straps. Two of us came from a product design background. One had spent years working closely with strap manufacturers across Europe and Asia. Together, we knew materials, we knew fit, and we knew exactly what the market was missing.

When the AP x Swatch Royal Pop dropped, we were as excited as everyone else. But within days of getting our hands on one, the same problem became obvious. The original puck design looked incredible in the box. On the wrist, it was a different story. There was no comfortable, clean, high-quality way to actually wear it.

So we built one.

We spent months prototyping. Testing widths, hardware, materials, and fittings until the conversion felt as considered as the watch itself. No compromise on quality. No cutting corners on finish. Just a strap system designed specifically to make the Royal Pop wearable every single day.

The response floored us. What started as a solution for ourselves quickly became the go-to conversion kit for Royal Pop owners worldwide. Today, Oak Pop straps are trusted by thousands of customers across the globe, and the Royal Pop conversion kit remains the product we are most proud of.
